Methodology
An AI-assisted learning workspace for students across education levels and subjects. Bring school tools into your workflow for homework, studying, writing, exam prep, and projects. Add task instructions yourself or optionally use available context from a supported school connection; available context and actions vary by integration. Review AI-assisted work and decide what to submit. This page explains how public product facts are checked, what the model can and cannot infer, and how to correct a mistake.

How rubric and session mappings are maintained
Subject, level, and assessment-session context is configured in iBacalao's product data. Mark-band wording is treated as assessment-instrument text, not as marketing copy. When a subject changes first-assessment year, the old and new instruments are kept distinct rather than silently merged.
Official IB programme and assessment rules are cited because they are the authority for those rules. That citation is not an affiliation, endorsement, or permission claim. iBacalao is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the International Baccalaureate Organization.
How product changes are checked
Mutable public facts — subject count, plan names, web prices and limits, platform availability, and entity wording — live in a canonical fact module. A repository audit fails when a public/indexable surface hardcodes a drifting value that already has a canonical source.
English and Spanish entity objects keep the same keys so localized pages cannot invent a second product identity.
What the model can and cannot infer
The review workflow can apply configured criterion context to the submitted draft and return comments plus ranked revision priorities. It cannot see a teacher's unpublished mark, a school's internal moderation, or the IB's final awarded grade.
Where a supported review workflow is configured, iBacalao checks a draft you provide against the selected criteria and returns feedback and suggested next steps. Diploma Programme IA, Extended Essay, and TOK are specialist examples of that review path. Review AI-assisted work and follow your school's rules.
What a score means
An iBacalao score is practice feedback against configured criteria. It is not an official exam grade, a predicted final grade, or evidence of agreement with examiners.
Internal QA can catch regressions. It is not an independent examiner study and is not published here as validation theater. Details of what has and has not been evaluated are on the AI model page.
Uncertainty and limitations
- No independent third-party accuracy benchmark is claimed on this page.
- Competitor pricing and feature availability are taken from public vendor pages or labelled as unverified.
- A teacher marketing page is not proof that every listed classroom feature is live for an external evaluator.
- Web prices are not App Store prices.
