Results and transcripts

Results day is two workflows: school release and student access

For May sessions, results are released to schools on July 5 and students can access the candidate site from July 6. The transcript timeline starts earlier, and a later grade change can trigger an updated transcript to the university.

May session

  1. By June 15Student tells the counsellor/coordinator which universities need the transcript; school submits pre-results transcript requests.
  2. July 5Results are released to schools and the enquiry-upon-results window opens.
  3. From July 6Students can view results on the candidate website and can make additional transcript requests.
  4. After a grade changeUpdated results from an enquiry upon results are released to universities within 24 hours of the grade change.
  5. August–SeptemberSchools receive final Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme certificates/diplomas.

November session

  1. By December 1Student communicates transcript destinations; school submits transcript requests.
  2. December 16Results are released to schools. A limited early enquiry-upon-results window is available December 16–18.
  3. From December 17Students can view results and make additional transcript requests.
  4. From January 2The wider category 1, 2 and 3 enquiry-upon-results window opens.
  5. January–FebruarySchools receive final certificates/diplomas.

What do you need to do right now?

Before results
Work through the school for transcript destinations. The current guidance allows up to six university destinations before results release without a transcript fee.
After release
Use the candidate site for subject grades, total points and core bonus points. More detailed boundary information can be made available at the coordinator's discretion.
After a grade change
Check whether the destination already receives the updated result before ordering another transcript. The current guidance says updated results are sent after a successful grade change.

Close to a boundary?

The detailed result fields can help frame a conversation with the programme coordinator, but distance to the next boundary is not a probability of a successful re-mark.
